September 18th Show

I featured tonight three tracks from the incredible new Women Take Back the Noise 3CD compilation. Calling it just a “compilation”, however, does injustice to the innovative packaging which features, among other things, an individual circuit-bent instrument, and playing cards about each artist. I’ve oft-decried the seeming lack of women noise and experimental music artists; this compilation just shows how wrong I was, and I hope it’s successful in bringing the work of these women to a broader audience.
